What happens after 1 August 2026?
We will notify every account well in advance. After the beta we will introduce a paid plan — beta users will keep preferential pricing. There is no auto-charge: you actively decide whether to continue.
Is my data safe?
Yes. ScanPilots data is stored on EU servers with daily backups. You can export your full data to CSV at any time — clients, walkthroughs, invoices.
Does ScanPilots integrate with Matterport?
ScanPilots does not touch your Matterport account or your 3D walkthroughs. It is an independent CRM where you record hosting terms, clients and invoices. Your Matterport workflow stays exactly as it is today.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes — ScanPilots is fully responsive. Dashboard, clients, invoices and the calendar work on a phone the same way as on desktop.
What does "invite-only" mean?
We onboard testers personally — by a short email exchange. We want our first users to be a small group of real Matterport photographers who actually shape the app. Once you are in, you get every module, no client limit, no walkthrough limit, no card required — until 1 August 2026. Who builds ScanPilots?
A small tech team building ScanPilots together with a group of Matterport photographers. They walked us through the problem in detail and shape every larger change — we are not your competitors and we never shoot for your clients.
A letter from the team
Hi,
ScanPilots started differently than most apps. We sat down with a group of Matterport photographers and asked one question: what frustrates you most in your daily work? They handed us a list — a spreadsheet of hosting dates, forgotten free periods, top-ups out of margin, clients asking "since when is this period actually running".
They also gave us their time. They showed us how they run their billing, which numbers actually matter and what is just clutter. That is why ScanPilots looks the way it does — we built it around the real needs of people who live off Matterport, not on guesses from outside the industry.
The beta is real and free, but we onboard one by one — personally, by email. We want our first users to be a small group of real Matterport photographers who actually shape the app. In return we ask one thing: tell us what is broken or missing. Every message lands on our desk. A lot of replies end up shipped the same week.
Write to us — if you fit, you get access the same day. Once in, sign up takes 5 minutes, add 2 or 3 walkthroughs and see if it works for you. If not for you — export everything to CSV and we never speak again. Either way, you lose nothing.
Your data is your data
Your account is yours, your clients are yours. In practice that means:
- User accounts are isolated from each other — only you see your client database, your walkthroughs and your invoices.
- We do not browse your data for fun. We open an account only when you report an issue and explicitly ask for help — and we leave the moment it is fixed.
- We do not sell data and we never use your clients or studios for our own marketing. Ever.
- Full CSV export at any time. One click deletes the account — your data physically goes away with it.
